The Grass Valley LDK 8300 camera captures full-resolution CCD 1920 x 1080 HD images at an outstanding three times the normal frame rate: 180i (59.94i) , 150i (50i) and 1280 x 720 HD images at three times the normal frame rate: 180p (59.94p) and 150p (50p) which capture true HD images natively. These are thesame sensors used in our LDK 8000 Elite series of HD cameras, whch are renowned for their high picture quality. 

This ensures superb slow-motion playback at all the HD frame-rate standards. The camera capture results in smooth, flicker-free slow-motion and normal-speed images with exceptional detail thanks to a signal-processing LSI that's dedicated to processing images in this way.
